Webster, NY - The Webster Public Library has four online programs planned for the month of February.


Below is a list of each program with brief descriptions.


Tuesday, Feb. 2, 7-8 p.m.: Writing a Dynamic Resume - An Online Zoom Presentation


Program Description: Amanda Falzone, professional resume writer and career adviser, will share information and examples that will guarantee that YOU leave with a strong foundation for creating (or updating!) your resume in a modern and tactical way.

Wednesday, Feb. 10, 7-8 p.m.: The Arrest & Trial of Susan B. Anthony - An Online Zoom Presentation


Program Description: With the passage of the Fourteenth Amendment in 1868, and its plain language implication that women, as citizens, had the right to vote, master strategist Susan B. Anthony decided to test the Constitution. She, her sister Mary, and fourteen other Rochester women registered, and then voted in the 1872 federal election, resulting in Anthony’s arrest, trial, and conviction.


The presenter, Dennis Carr, is on staff at the Edward G. Miner Library at the University of Rochester Medical Center, assisting students, researchers, clinical staff, and faculty. He is also a founding member, past president, and current trustee of the Friends of Mount Hope Cemetery.

Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2-3 p.m.: The Wonders of Washington State - An Online Presentation


Program Description: Lake Quinault, Quinault Rain Forest, Ruby Beach, Olympic National Park, Vancouver Island, North Cascades National Park, Seattle and San Juan Island... Is it possible to visit all of these breathtaking spots in 2 weeks? Yes, it is! Register to attend this travelogue so that you too can take in the beauty that Washington State has to offer.

Monday, Feb. 22, 7-8 p.m.: Libby Tips and Tricks - An Online Zoom Presentation


Program Description: Do you want to learn more about the Libby app? Do you have questions or just want to learn some tricks that you might not know about? Join the library’s Reader’s Discovery Librarian, Jenny Paxson, for a Zoom presentation to learn about the different options that Libby has to offer. There will be time for questions at the end.
