Even with COVID-19, residents will still be able to bring their four-legged friends to a Rabies Vaccine Clinic this summer, although it will look a little different.
On Wednesday, July 22, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., there will be a drive-thru clinic at the Monroe County Fleet Center, Building #5, 145 Paul Road, Rochester.
Dogs, cats, and ferrets welcome.
The clinic is sponsored by the Monroe County Department of Public Health.
To benefit from this clinic:
Pets must be at least three months of age.
Dogs must be on leashes.
Cats and ferrets must be in carriers.
Additionally, proof of previous vaccination is required at time of pre-registration in order to qualify for a three-year certificate; without proof, a one-year certificate will be issued.
Humans are required to wear face masks.
Pre-registration is required. Call (585) 753-5524.
