An electronics recycling event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 29 at the Xerox campus in Webster.


Residents will be able to dispose of unused or old electronics that fall under the list of acceptable items according to sunnking.com.


Below is a list of acceptable items:

  • Computers (Desktop & Laptop)

  • Monitors (Flat screen & CRT)

  • Computer accessories (Mice, Keyboards, Webcams, Speakers, Microphones)

  • Cables & all IT accessories

  • Storage devices (External hard drives, solid state drives, SD cards, memory cards, card readers, etc.)

  • Computer power supplies

  • Printers (Ink, toner, & cartridges)

  • Gaming devices

  • Network devices

  • Computer peripherals

  • Circuit boards/cards

  • Scanners

  • Copiers & Multifunction devices

  • Fax machines

  • Video & audio equipment

  • Phone systems

  • Projection equipment

  • Printers

  • Plotters

  • Security equipment

  • Receivers and transmitters

  • Answering machines

  • TVs (Flat screen & CRT)

  • Stereo Equipment (No wooden speakers)

The event will take place on the 29th from 8:30 a.m. until noon. Residents are required to pre-register either online at sunnking.com/events or by calling (585) 637-8365. The Xerox campus is located off Caracus Drive.
