This guide walks you through how to find the agendas and minutes for Regular Board meetings, Planning Board meetings, and Zoning Board of Appeals minutes on the Town of Webster website.
Where to Look
Go to the Town of Webster website by Clicking Here.
If you’re viewing the site on desktop, you will see a menu. If you’re using a mobile device, the menu is near the top, under the Town of Webster logo.
Select “Board Agendas & Minutes” from the menu.
What You’ll Find
You should now have been directed to a page titled “Current Board Meeting Agendas and Minutes.”
On this page, you should see three headings:
Town Board
Planning Board
Zoning Board of Appeals
Town Board
Under the “Town Board” heading, there are four links:
Town Board Meeting Agendas
Town Board Meeting Results
Town Board Meeting Minutes
Town Board Workshop Agendas
Town Board Meeting Agendas
When you click the “Agendas” link, you will be directed to a long list of meeting agendas. The most recent one will be located near the top of the list.
Click on whichever agenda you wish to read what topics will be discussed at that upcoming meeting.
Town Board Meeting Results
When you click on the “Results” link, you will be directed to another long list. Clicking on any one of the links will show you the agenda for that meeting, along with information about whether each agenda item was approved, tabled, or disapproved.
(NOTE: These “Results” don’t provide in-depth information about WHY the agenda item was approved, or what discussion was had about the item at the meeting. They only say whether or not each item was approved, tabled, etc.)
Town Board Meeting Minutes
When you click the “Minutes” link, you will be directed to an entirely different archive where you can search meeting minutes. The most recent meetings will be listed towards the top.
If you’re looking for minutes for a meeting that took place a while ago, there are dropdown menus that allow you to enter the year, month, and day of the meeting you’re looking for.
Meeting minutes are word-by-word documentations of what was said and discussed at a meeting. These are useful if you really want to know everything that happened, who was present, who voted what, etc.
Town Board Workshop Agendas
When you click the “Workshop Agendas” link, you will be directed to another list. This list contains all Town Workshop agendas. Simple.
Planning Board
Under the “Planning Board” heading, there are three links:
Current Agenda
Meeting Results
Meeting Minutes
Current Planning Board Agenda
When you click “Current Agenda,” a PDF will open for the most recent Planning Board meeting agenda. Unlike the Town Board agendas, you are not directed to a list of all Planning Board meeting agendas - just the most recent one.
Planning Board Meeting Results
When you click “Meeting Results,” a PDF of the most current Planning Board meeting agenda will open. Next to each agenda item, there’s a “Detailed Outcome” column that BRIEFLY (it doesn’t go into the details of the discussion that took place) sums up what the final decision was for that item.
Planning Board Meeting Minutes
When you click “Meeting Minutes,” you are directed to a very short list of the most recent Planning Board meeting minutes. The minutes cover everything that was said and decided, as well as who all was present at that particular meeting.
So if you want to know what the latest discussions are surrounding a development project of interest in the Planning Board stage, you’ll find it in these meeting minutes.
(There’s also a link on this page called “All Archives” you can select to search for past Planning Board agendas and minutes.)
Zoning Board of Appeals
Under the “Zoning Board of Appeals” heading, there are only two links:

Meeting Results
At this time, there is not yet a link to ZBA meeting minutes.
Current Zoning Board Agenda
When you select “Current Agenda,” a PDF of the most recent meeting agenda will open. Simple.
Zoning Board Meeting Results
When you select “Meeting Results,” just like with the Planning Board meetings, a PDF of the most current ZBA meeting agenda will open. Next to each agenda item, there’s a “Detailed Outcome” column that BRIEFLY (again, it does not go into the details of the discussion that took place) sums up what the final decision was for that item.
If all else fails, you can simply click the “Archives” link provided on the same page where dropdown menus will help you find the documents you’re searching for.
