MONROE COUNTY PRESS RELEASE -
New Cases
There are 32 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 since the 4 p.m. update on Thursday, April 9.
These new individuals include:
1 Female in her 30s
1 Female in her 40s
1 Male in his 40s
2 Females in their 50s
6 Females in their 60s
5 Males in their 60s
2 Females in their 70s
3 Males in their 70s
6 Females in their 80s
1 Male in his 80s
3 Females in their 90s
1 Males in his 90s
Deaths
There were 6 new deaths since Thursday, April 9, bringing the total to 46.
* Five of today’s newly accounted for deaths occurred earlier in the week, but are being included in today’s report as a result of when they were reported to the Monroe County Department of Public Health. While this data is released daily, the totals are not always reflective of the previous day’s results.
Age Range of Deceased
2 between 40-59 years of age
21 between 60-79 years of age
23 between 80-99 years of age
Hospitalized
Of the 712 confirmed cases, 87 people are hospitalized. 3 of the 87 patients are in the ICU.
