Confirmed Cases

There are 217 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Monroe County.

New Cases                                                                              

There are 15 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 since the 4 p.m. update on Saturday, March 28. These new individuals include:

  • 3 Females in their 20s

  • 2 Males in their 20s

  • 1 Female in her 30s

  • 1 Male in his 30s

  • 2 Females in their 40s

  • 2 Males in their 50s

  • 3 Females in their 60s

  • 1 Female in her 70s

COVID-19 Testing in Monroe County will be updated at 4 p.m.

Hospitalized patients

Of the 217 confirmed cases, 32 people are hospitalized, 23 of the 32 patients are in ICU.

Deaths related to COVID-19

  • 5 patients

Resolved Cases

Of the 217 confirmed cases, 48 people resolved and have been released from isolation.

Mandatory Quarantine

The Health Department has placed 367 people into mandatory quarantine and isolation.

Additional Details

Monroe County continues to ask residents to stay home and practice social distancing. We should all assume that we have been exposed to COVID-19, even if we do not have recognizable symptoms, and could be spreading the virus to people who are vulnerable to more severe symptoms.

Everyone has a role to play as we work to stop the spread of COVID-19 in our community.
