PRESS RELEASE -

New Cases

Please note that today’s New Cases data reflects a large increase that could be misleading. Monroe County received a large number of test results from outside laboratories today, but the specimens were collected over a period of 7 days. The spike in Confirmed Cases since yesterday DOES NOT represent a corresponding spike in the number of people who have become infected since yesterday.
