Webster Hots switches to take-out, delivery

The rapid spread of the coronavirus has everyone shutting down, including local food establishments like Webster Hots. The popular Webster hub for "The best plates, burgers, wraps, and sandwiches in a family friendly atmosphere" made the announcement on social media on Monday.

"Hang in there with us, friends. Due to recent updates, we are switching to take-out/delivery only until further notice. We have updated out website to enable online ordering for PICK UP. Or you can call ahead and we will have it ready when you get here. Delivery is still available on our website by choosing the Grubhub link. Our team is being extra diligent, cleaning high touch areas like counters and door handles. If you're not comfortable coming in, give a call when you get here and someone will run your order to the porch. If you're feeling fine, come on in, grab your food, and wave hello!
We are encouraging online orders and call-ins with prepayment to keep the visits short and sweet and limit the handling of money for our staff. Tons of love to our team Aidan, Joe, Jason, Jacky, Jameson, Alayna, Jason C., and Liam. We couldn't do it without them or you. Thanks for your continued support."

The Waffle Factory is also taking precautions, and shared the following Facebook post on Saturday:

"Hello, starting today, we will only be able to operate at 50% capacity until further notice. We will not be able to seat parties larger than 4. We will also be asking for a phone number when you check in so that if there is a wait we will call you while you wait in your vehicle. To assist, we will be taking to-go orders on the weekends and will continue taking them during the week. This will be until further notice.
[Sanitation] measures have and will be taken to clean common door handles, iPads, creamers, etc. several times.
Please bear with us as we do our best to follow these policies and continue to provide you with safe and excellent service.
Thank you for your understanding and we still hope to see everyone for all of your breakfast and lunch needs! We truly appreciate you all and your constant support."

On the Waffle Factory website, there are now links to Grubhub and DoorDash.

Be sure to check out the websites and social media pages of your favorite Webster eateries to see if they offer similar take-out/delivery options.
