Award recognizes teacher excellence in Webster Central Schools

Webster, NY - It’s that time of year when members of the Webster Central School District community are invited to nominate a teacher for the prestigious Oak Tree Teacher Award.
Webster residents, district employees, current or former students, parents, teachers, or administrative colleagues may nominate an elementary or secondary teacher they believe deserves special recognition.
The Oak Tree Award, which is co-sponsored by the Webster Teachers' Association (WTA) and the Webster Central PTSA, is a program that annually highlights teacher excellence in Webster schools.
To qualify for the award, nominees must meet the following criteria:
Be currently teaching in a full-time position in Webster Central Schools
Have a minimum of 5 years teaching experience in Webster Central Schools
Plan to continue to teach the next school year in, or retire from Webster Central Schools
Be a member of both the Webster Central PTSA and the Webster Teachers' Association
Only individual teachers can be nominated - groups, teams, or grade levels do not qualify.
Qualifying nominees will receive an Oak Tree Award Application and directions for completing the application process., according to the online Oak Tree nomination form.
The deadline for nominations is Feb. 1, 2021.
People must fill out this form to make their nomination.
