Loved ones are holding a small gathering at Webster Union Cemetery this Saturday, August 8, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Kelley Gaffield’s mysterious disappearance and death.

Gaffield disappeared at the age of 16 on August 8, 1995. She was last seen in the Phillips Road area in the Village of Webster. Her body was later discovered on October 22, 1995 in a wooded area in Webster.

To this day, the cause of Gaffield’s death is unknown.

Chris Reilly, Gaffield’s mother, says it’s not too late to come forward with any information that could help the investigation of Gaffield’s death.

“Kelley continues to fly high with the angels,” said Reilly. But her loved ones on earth still seek justice.

Anyone with information pertaining to the crime is urged to contact the Webster Police Department by calling (585) 872-1216.

The memorial gathering this Saturday will take place at 2 p.m. (rain or shine) at Webster Union Cemetery, 345 Webster Road in Webster. The public is welcome to attend.
