Town will soon accept residents’ requests for masks

***
Not everyone was able to make it to the Town of Webster’s mask distribution on May 9 and 13th. To encourage residents to continue taking health precautions to protect themselves and others from contracting COVID-19, the town says it will soon be accepting and filling requests for masks as needed.
First, the town will distribute masks to senior communities starting next week. After that, the town says residents can submit requests for masks. The town will provide them “based on our remaining stock.”
The town emphasizes that it will only be accepting requests from residents who were unable to attend the two previous mask distribution events, due to limited supply.
Webster residents who would like to request masks should email their request to cableaccess@ci.webster.ny.us. Requests should include the resident’s name, address, and contact number.
“You will be contacted once we have determined our remaining supply numbers,” the town says in its social media announcement.
Even though New York is slowly lifting its mandate and allowing some businesses to open, people are still urged to wear masks or face coverings in public and practice social distancing measures.
