Webster, NY - The Town of Webster has a new highway superintendent.
The Webster Town Board passed a resolution at its April 1 meeting appointing Patrick Stephens as the new Webster Town Highway Superintendent.
Stephens is the successor of long-time Webster Town Highway Superintendent Joe Herbst, who retired earlier this year.
Stephens’s appointment will take effect starting April 12, 2021.

Has Patrick taken the mandated test required by Monroe County to take this job? Or is it a provisional appointment until he passes the test? Inquiring minds would like to understand the Town Boards direction here. Just like the new Webster Police Chief that hasn't taken the required test to become Chief but the Town Board won't tell you that.
