Webster, NY - Schutt’s Apple Mill recently received a New York State Senate Empire Award from Senator Pam Helming for their community support during COVID-19.
Earlier this year, as the pandemic was first beginning to spread in the area, Schutt’s donated over 2,100 bags of apples to the Webster community, among other generous contributions.
“As a fourth-generation, family-owned farm, Schutt’s Apple Mill is part of the fabric of the Webster community and a vital part of the local economy,” Senator Helming states in a press release. “My thanks to Evan Schutt and the Schutt family for their generosity and commitment to their neighbors and community.”
The Empire award is reserved for businesses that significantly contribute to the growth and prosperity of their communities and state.
Schutt’s Apple Mill has been a beloved staple in the Webster community since 1918. Four generations of Schutts have kept the Apple Mill traditions alive, growing some of the most delicious apples and sweet cider in the area.
It began as a small cider room, but grew into a full country store that’s open all year round.
Schutt’s Apple Mill is located at 1063 Plank Road, Webster, NY. Follow their Facebook page for the latest business updates.
