Veterans Day 2020 in the Village of Webster

The traditional ceremony will still take place at Veterans Park

The Village of Webster still plans on honoring our veterans this year on Veterans Day, but the “Veteran Luncheon” will be served a bit differently.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Village Office says the Village is unable to offer a sitdown luncheon in its community room as is the tradition. However, takeout meals will be provided to veterans and servicemen and women via curbside pickup.

The meals will be paid for by the Village of Webster and made by Brimont Bistro.

The Veterans Day ceremony will still take place at Veterans Park, with everyone expected to maintain social distancing. Village Mayor Darrell Byerts will speak at the ceremony.
