Webster's Virtual Costume Contest Winners

Webster, NY - A total of 18 contestants submitted photos for the first-ever Village of Webster Virtual Halloween Costume Contest. The Village recently announced the four winners, who will receive gift cards to a Village of Webster business of their choice.

The contest was sponsored by County Legislator Matthew Terp.

The Village of Webster had to cancel its in-person costume contest this year due to COVID-19. Traditionally, the contest would take place on the same day as the Business Improvement District’s “Trick-or-Treat Trail,” which was also canceled this year.

So Legislator Terp and the Village of Webster improvised, organizing the first-ever virtual costume contest for the Village.

The winners of the contest are as follows:

1st Place: Mint Chip Ice Cream

2nd Place: Baby Horse Jockey

3rd Place: Horse Riding Girl

4th Place: Shark Family

Contestants submitted their photos via email to the Village, who then shared them on the Village of Webster Facebook page.
