Webster CSD reports 10 more cases of COVID-19

Students and staff members were last on campus Dec. 22 at the latest

Webster, NY - The Webster Central School District has reported a total of 10 more cases of COVID-19. Five were reported on Jan. 5 and five more reported on Jan. 6.


The 10 students/staff members who have tested positive have not been on campus since Dec. 22 at the latest.


The timing of these reports is based on when the Monroe County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) has notified the district of the positive cases.


These cases follow 14 cases that were reported earlier this week.


On Jan. 5, the following cases were reported:

  • Students - Webster Schroeder High School: Two (2) students were last on campus on Tuesday, Dec. 22.

  • Student - Webster Thomas High School: The student was last on campus on Tuesday, Dec. 22.

  • Student - Willink Middle School: The student was last on campus on Tuesday, Dec. 22.

  • Staff - Webster CSD: The staff member was last on campus on Friday, March 13.


On Jan. 6, the following cases were reported:

  • Student - Spry Middle School: The student was last on campus on Thursday, Dec. 17.

  • Students - Webster Schroeder High School: Two (2) students were last on campus on Friday, Dec. 18 and Tuesday, Dec. 22.

  • Student - Webster Thomas High School: The student was last on campus on Tuesday, Dec. 22.

  • Staff - Webster Thomas High School: The staff member was last on campus on Tuesday, Dec. 22.

The week of Dec. 27, the district reported 42 cases. The students and staff members who tested positive were last on campus on Dec. 22 at the latest.
