Webster, NY - The Webster Volunteer Fire Department shared news of the recent passing of Robert R. Duthy Sr., a former Webster fire chief.


“It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Webster Volunteer Fire Department Past Chief, Robert R. Duthoy Sr.,” the department wrote in a news release.


Duthy was an Air Force Veteran and a retiree of the Webster Highway Department, according to his online obituary.


He was a member of the Webster Volunteer Fire Department for 71 years. He was lovingly referred to as “Uncle Bob.”
