Webster, NY - The Town of Webster recently suffered the loss of long-time Deputy Town Attorney Raja Sekharan.


Sekharan served the Town of Webster for over 20 years. He was counsel to both the Town Planning and Zoning boards.


According to his online attorney profile, Sekharan was a 1993 graduate of Valparaiso University School of Law. In 1995, he was officially admitted to the New York State Bar. He had a Master of Laws in Taxation degree from the University of Alabama School of Law.


Sekharan was a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee who served on the Rochester panel since 2010. From 2000 to 2004, he practiced with the firm of Chamberlain D=Amanda, LLP. He then went into solo practice from 2004 to 2017, and joined Midey, Mirras & Ricci, LLP in 2017.


“Raja will be greatly missed by all who knew him,” the Town of Webster says on its website with the news of Sekharan’s passing.
