Burglary 3rd, Grand Larceny 3rd, 1000 block Bay Road, 1/11/2021

Suspect: Unknown. Officers responded to Bay Road for the burglary. The victim reports that sometime between November 2020 and Jan. 10, someone broke into his unlocked, unattached garage and stole thousands of dollars in loose change that was in milk jugs and containers.


Petit Larceny, 1050 Ridge Road (Target), 1/11/2021

Suspect: Burgos-Palmer, Amanda R. (DOB: 3/11/1999). Officers responded to Target for a larceny report. Employees report that a suspect just exited the store with $505.94 worth of stolen merchandise. The suspect got into a vehicle and started to leave the parking lot. Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop, where the suspect was ID’d and merchandise recovered. The suspect was released with an appearance ticket.


Burglary 2nd, Petit Larceny, Coastal View Drive, 1/12/2021; Petit Larceny, Mill Stream Run, 1/12/2021; Petit Larceny, Mill Stream Run, 1/12/2021

Suspect: Pearson, Lawrence W. (DOB: 7/4/1993). Officers responded to Lake Road for a male suspect detained by a homeowner for going through his vehicle. Upon arrival, officers located the suspect and numerous stolen items that had been stolen from multiple vehicles in the area. The suspect also entered an attached garage and stole items from a vehicle inside the victim’s garage. The suspect was arrested, transported to the Webster Police Department for processing, and released with an appearance ticket.


Grand Larceny 4th, Criminal Mischief 4th, Crosspointe Lane, 1/13/2021

Suspect: Unknown. Officers responded to Crosspointe Lane for a larceny report. The victim reports that sometime since 1/11/2021, his business trailer was broken into by damaging the door and a snowblower was stolen from the trailer. Investigation to continue.


Petit Larceny, 1050 Ridge Road (Target), 1/13/2021

Suspect: Laplant, Kimberly A. (DOB: 2/17/1974). Officers responded to Target for a larceny report. Employees report that a suspect just exited the store with $236.97 worth of stolen merchandise. Officers arrived on scene and observed the vehicle in the parking lot and the suspect in the driver seat. Employees identified the suspect, the stolen merchandise was recovered, and the suspect was arrested. The suspect was released with an appearance ticket.


Identity Theft 3rd, 1000 Ridge Road, 1/14/2021

Suspect: Unknown. Officers responded to 1000 Ridge Road, Webster PD, for the walk-in complaint. The victim reports that they were notified by the NYS Department of Labor that an unknown suspect filed for unemployment benefits using her name.


Grand Larceny 3rd, Burglary 3rd, 800 block Phillips Road (Life Storage), 1/14/2021

Suspect: Unknown. Officers responded to Life Storage for the larceny report. The victim reports that approximately $10,000 in collectible action figures and books were stolen from his storage unit. The victim reports that he was contacted by a collectibles store in New Jersey who advised him that the merchandise was traded in for $4,000 by an unknown female, and the items had the victim’s name on them. Items were secured by a local police agency in New Jersey. Investigation to continue.


Grand Larceny 4th, 400 block Ridge Road, 1/17/2021

Suspect: Unknown. Officers responded to Ridge Road for the forgery report. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who reports that, on Jan. 15, an unknown person contacted him using Facebook Messenger and demanded that they send $9,000 or the unknown suspect would distribute the victim’s personal information all over the internet. The victim sent a $125 money gram to Mali, Africa to try to prevent this from happening. The victim was contacted again on 1/16/2021 and asked to send the rest of the money, and this time the victim realized it might be a scam.


Identity Theft 3rd, 1000 Ridge Road, 1/17/2021

Suspect: Unknown. Officers responded to the Webster Police Department for the walk-in complaint. The victim reports that they were notified by the NYS Department of Labor that an unknown suspect filed for unemployment benefits using her name.


Robbery 2nd, Grand Larceny 3rd, Staci Lane, 1/18/2021

Suspect: Unknown. Officers responded to Stacie Lane for the stolen vehicle report. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with the reporting person who says their mother just arrived home and was in the parking lot when she was approached by three males who snuck up behind her, threw her to the ground, and stole the keys to her vehicle. The males fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle and left the area prior to officers’ arrival. Investigation to continue.


Identity Theft 3rd, Appian Drive, 1/20/2021

Suspect: Unknown. Officers responded to Appian Drive for the fraud report. The victim reports that someone used their name to apply for unemployment benefits. The victim was advised to contact the NYS Department of Labor to file the necessary paperwork.


Grand Larceny 3rd, Criminal Mischief 4th, Grand Meadows Way, 1/21/2021

Suspect: Unknown. Officers responded to Grand Meadows Way for a larceny report. The victim reports that he is the owner of a construction company, and during the overnight hours, someone cut the lock of his storage container and stole $6,000 in tools. Investigation to continue.


Criminal Mischief 3rd, Gravel Road and Cane Patch, 1/21/2021

Suspect: Unknown. Officers responded to the Webster Police Department for the walk-in report. The victim reports that, the night prior, while driving on Gravel Road near Cane Patch, a vehicle was parked on the shoulder of the road and as he passed the vehicle, he heard a loud “bang” that sounded like something hitting his vehicle. When the victim came to a stop, he checked his vehicle and there was a 2-inch slice in the rear fender of the vehicle. Investigation to continue.


Criminal Mischief 4th, Fairview Circle, 1/21/2021

Suspect: Unknown. Officers responded to Fairview Circle for the criminal mischief report. The victim reports that his mailbox and three of his neighbors’ mailboxes were damaged on 1/16/2021. The victim reports fixing all the mailboxes, but he wanted to make the police aware of the incident.


Identity Theft 3rd, Curtice Park, 1/22/2021

Suspect: Unknown. Officers responded to Curtice Park for the fraud report. The victim reports that her employer contacted her on 1/21/2021 and advised her that someone fraudulently applied for unemployment under her name. The victim reports never filing for unemployment. NYS Department of Labor investigating.


Grand Larceny 3rd, Identity Theft 3rd, Cuddy Court, 1/22/2021

Suspect: Unknown. Officers responded to Cuddy Court for the larceny report. The victim reports that, on 12/30/2020, during the overnight hours, her wallet was stolen from her unlocked vehicle that was parked in her driveway. The victim reports that her credit card was used at Wegmans and McDonalds on 12/31/2020. Investigation to continue.


Petit Larceny, Endangering Welfare of a Child, 900 Holt Road (Wegmans), 1/23/2021

Suspect: Sheffield, Jennifer C. (DOB: 12/27/1978). Officers responded to Wegmans for the larceny in progress. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Wegmans employees who reported that they observed a suspect select merchandise by entering the self-checkout line and pretending to scan the items. The suspect stole $137.59 worth of merchandise while having two children with her. Employees confronted the suspect and waited with them until police arrived. The suspect was arrested and released with an appearance ticket.


Unlawful Possession of Personal Identification 3rd, Midship Circle, 1/25/2021

Suspect: Unknown. Officers responded to Midship Circle for the identity theft report. The victim reports that someone obtained his social security number and attempted to gain credit in the victim’s name. The victim’s bank was able to catch this fraud and was able to stop the transaction and is working to secure the victim’s information.


Identity Theft 3rd, Krieger Road, 1/25/2021

Suspect: Unknown. Officers responded to the Webster Police Department for the walk-in complaint. The victim reports that someone fraudulently applied for unemployment under their name. The victim reports never filing for unemployment. NYS Department of Labor investigating.
