After being closed to the public due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Webster Public Library is now reopening its book drop services. Residents can now return items via the library’s book drop.

The book drop is open as of May 18.

The due date for all borrowed items remains June 29, so residents do not have to rush their returns.

“We’ll be ready to take them when you are done with them,” the library shared on social media.

Items returned via book drop will remain on the borrower’s account for 3-4 days while library staff quarantines them. Once quarantined, the items will be removed from the borrower’s library account.

The library says it will share another update this week regarding its Drive-Up, Pick-Up service. At this time, the library building itself is still closed to the public.
