Webster, NY - The officials Webster has elected to serve on the Webster Town Board were sworn in on January 1 at the Town’s annual Organizational Meeting.
Webster Town Justice Thomas DiSalvo performed the swearing-in ceremony.
The Town officials voted into office were:
Tom Flaherty, reelected to Webster Town Supervisor
Patti Cataldi, reelected to Webster Town Council
Ginny Nguyen, first-time Webster Town Council elect
Flaherty won the majority vote as the endorsed GOP/Conservative candidate with 65.5% of the vote. His Democratic opponent, Danielle Palermo-Jimenez - representing Democrats and Working Families - fell short with 34.5% of the final vote. This is Flaherty’s second term as Webster Town Supervisor.
In the race for the two seats on the Webster Town Board, Patti Cataldi and Ginny Nguyen - representing the GOP/Conservative party - won at 32.2% and 31.3% of the vote, respectively. Their Democratic opponents - Ashley Teague and Sid Bahl - earned 18.9% and 17.6% of the vote, respectively.
