Places are slowly starting to open up, and Webster’s courthouse is one of them. The Webster Town Court recently issued an update announcing that the courthouse is now open, but only by appointment. Anyone with a pending matter before the court must call or email the court clerks before going to the courthouse.

The court says it will notify people of their next court date and time once the courthouse is fully open to the public.

“At this time, we do not have any upcoming court scheduled,” Webster Town Court stated in its formal update.

So what can and can’t be done through the Webster Town Court right now? Below is the breakdown:

  • You can pay fines and/or surcharge and/or scofflaw lift fees via www.GovPayNow.com. Or you can call 1-888-604-7888 (charges apply). You can also mail a bank check or money order (made out to “Webster Town Court”) to Webster Town Court, 1002 Ridge Road, Webster, NY 14580.

  • All court cases have been administratively adjourned until further notice.

  • No future court dates have been set yet.

  • You will be notified of your court date once your matter has been rescheduled.

  • Pleas (guilty or not guilty) on a vehicle or traffic ticket should be mailed or scanned and emailed to the courthouse.

  • Vehicle and traffic tickets are still being processed, but the court is currently prohibited from setting fines and informing the defendant of fines or informing the defendant of any fine and surcharge.

Got a question? You can either email the court clerks at courtclerk@ci.webster.ny.us or call them at the following numbers:

  • DiSalvo Clerks: (585) 872-7022 or 872-7023.

  • Corretore Clerks: (585) 872-7020 or 872-7021.
