As of June 1, Webster Town Hall officially reopened. At this time, it is only open by appointment. Residents can now speak with various town departments with any questions or concerns that were more difficult to express virtually over the past few months.

The town says appointments can now be made with the following departments:

  • Public Works

  • Finance

  • Town Clerk/Tax Receiver

  • Assessing

How do I make an appointment?

The town shared the following steps one must take to schedule an appointment through town hall:

  1. Call (585) 872-1000 (or 872-7051 for Assessing).

  2. Listen to the prompts and select the department with which you want to speak.

  3. Department staff will discuss your situation and determine whether you need to come in for an appointment or if your business can be conducted via the internet, U.S. mail/drop box, or some other means.

  4. Contact the department to reschedule if you do not feel well.

Of course, town hall has rules for entrance to ensure the safety of everyone concerned. They are as follows:

  • You are required to wear a mask at all times while in Webster Town Hall.

  • You must park in the front lot along Ridge Road and enter through the main doors.

  • Staff will meet you at the door and escort you to the appropriate department.

  • You must maintain a social distance of six feet from others while in the building.

  • Staff will escort you back to the door once your appointment is complete.

The town assures residents that its employees are also required to wear masks at all times.

At this time, there is no set date for the full reopening of town hall.
