The beloved Webster bookshop released its reopening details last week

Webster, NY - Yesterday's Muse Books has reopened its doors to the public, according to an announcement the store shared in a Facebook post on Monday, Oct. 12. Like most businesses, the book store was previously closed to indoor shopping due to COVID-19.
Of course, as is the new norm, the store says all in-store patrons are required to wear masks or facial coverings - no exceptions.
For those who are unable to wear a mask (for instance, if a mask makes it difficult to breathe due to a health condition), they can still shop online.
"Our full stock is available to search and browse on our website, and orders can be shipped to you, or retrieved via curbside pickup," the store says in its newsletter announcement of the reopening.
Yesterday's Muse urges patrons to practice social distancing within its store. It says the floor is marked with arrows directing shoppers to maintain one-way traffic flow.
There are also markers "to denote appropriate social distancing positions in high traffic areas."
Hand sanitizer is also available at the front counter, and patrons are encouraged to wash their hands in the store's public restroom upon entering and before exiting.
The store advises customers to expect delays for book buying and special orders. Book buying services are offered by appointment only at this time.
"One third of our staff is still working from home, and new protocols we have in place for keeping you safe do take some time each day to implement," the store writes.
"While this pandemic has affected how we are able to do business, it has not impacted us getting our hands on loads of new acquisitions," the store writes. "We have been hard at work during these past months cataloging our fingers off. So what are you waiting for?"
